Mary Mears has been a local councillor for both Brighton & Hove City Council and its predecessor. She has served as Council Leader from 2008 to 2011. She has brought a 'value for money' approach to the city council and believes that every pound raised by local tax payers should be spent wisely. Lynda Hyde

Lynda Hyde has served Rottingdean Coastal for many years as a local councillor. Lynda is very active in the ward and enjoys taking up problems on behalf of ward members. Lynda can often be spotted around the ward with her dog, and they both keep fit working on behalf of residents.
